Nan McCabe, President 2019-2021

Theme: Plant America - “Keep Missouri Blooming”

Nan McCabe became President of Federated Garden Clubs of Missouri, April 16, 2019 after being installed by National President Nancy Hargroves. Nan has been a member of her garden club, Jardin du Lac Garden Club of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, for 24 years and held every Executive Officer position over 8 years.

She was Assistant Director and District Director of her State District before becoming Secretary of FGCM which she then moved to 3rd VP, 2nd VP, 1st VP to today.

Nan is a retired Registered Nurse who has 3 children and 10 grandchildren. Nan and her husband reside in Lake St. Louis where they live in the woods on the lake and are shade gardeners.

Nan’s theme is Plant America -“Keep Missouri Blooming”. Her President Projects are to see 10% Increase of Children’s Programs in her state clubs, 10% Increase in Membership, 5% Increase in National Schools Attendance, 100% Usage of FGCM Children’s Grant.


All of the President Projects help “Keep Missouri Blooming”. The Missouri Box Turtle is FGCM’s Mascot which represents strength and longevity for FGCM.
